Refund Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

This Refund Policy applies to OSINT Trace Premium subscriptions. Premium provides account-level benefits, including advanced multi-platform social media checking, larger quotas, and priority access to our APIs and tools.

Payments and orders are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Inc. / Paddle Payments Ltd.. Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms and refund processes also apply to your purchase.

1. Service Availability

OSINT Trace is a tool that analyzes and queries publicly accessible information across online platforms and digital networks.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that any particular platform, third-party API, or check will work successfully or remain compatible with OSINT Trace indefinitely.

Third-party platforms may change their structures, restrict access, or become unavailable. A failed lookup or a change to a third-party website does not by itself make a subscription refundable.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial Premium subscription purchase only where no Premium benefit has been substantially consumed.

Once Premium benefits (such as advanced searches or API calls) have been consumed beyond basic trial usage, the subscription is considered consumed and is generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or Paddle’s policies. Paddle provides buyer tools at Paddle.net for refund requests, subscription cancellation, receipts, and transaction support.

3. Exceptions & Billing Errors

We may consider a refund, subject to verification, where:

  • You were charged more than once for the same subscription period.
  • A verified billing or system calculation error occurred.
  • You made an accidental purchase, report it within 24 hours, and have not used any Premium search quota or API calls.
  • You cannot access Premium services because of a material outage caused by OSINT Trace, and you first give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

4. Cancellations

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future recurring renewal charges but does not automatically refund payments already processed for the active billing period.

Upon cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of your current paid billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription directly in your account dashboard or via Paddle.net.

5. Prevention of Abuse

To prevent fraudulent abuse of our digital services, we may reject refund requests where:

  • A customer has substantially consumed their monthly/annual search quota before requesting a refund.
  • A customer submits repeated or abusive refund requests.
  • Multiple accounts were created to obtain repetitive trial quotas or refunds.
  • A payment dispute or chargeback was initiated without prior contact with our support team.

6. How to Request a Refund

Before requesting a refund for a technical issue, please contact our support team via our Contact Page or by email at [email protected].

For direct Paddle payment, invoice lookup, or refund management, visit Paddle.net and locate your purchase using the email address used at checkout.

7. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory consumer rights that apply under the laws of your country of residence (such as EU/UK statutory rights of withdrawal). Where local law provides rights that conflict with this policy, those legal rights take precedence.
